Key School and Training Center
The Key School & Training Center has spent six decades helping students with learning differences recognize their strengths, build confidence, and reach their potential. Heading into its 60th anniversary year, the organization wasn't short on ideas, it was short on team bandwidth.
SUNSEV Creative initially partnered with The Key School on a defined group of creative projects. As the relationship developed, the scope expanded to provide additional support for high-priority initiatives that mattered to the organization but often fell outside the capacity of its day-to-day marketing team.
From anniversary celebrations and fundraising materials to advertising and seasonal program promotion, SUNSEV became an extension of the team by providing the creative capacity to move larger projects forward without pulling internal staff away from the marketing work already on their plates.

Rather than approaching each request as an isolated design assignment, SUNSEV Creative built familiarity with The Key School's brand, audiences, priorities, and internal workflow. That context made it possible to move quickly while maintaining consistency across very different initiatives.
Support expanded to include projects such as:
60th Anniversary Gala creative, including event identity, invitations, sponsorship materials, signage, programs, and supporting event collateral
Advertising campaigns supporting admissions, workplace culture, and Dyslexia Awareness Month
Summer program brochures and promotional materials
Annual report and impact communications
Special print, fundraising, and institutional materials that required additional creative capacity
The goal wasn't to replace the internal marketing function. It was to make that team more capable by giving them somewhere trusted to send the work that needed dedicated attention.
-
Expanding the partnership gave The Key School a flexible outside resource for significant projects while allowing its internal marketing team to remain focused on the daily work of supporting the school.
Instead of asking one team to simultaneously manage routine communications and produce every major campaign, publication, advertisement, and anniversary asset internally, SUNSEV provided additional capacity when and where it was needed.
That meant:
Greater consistency across major creative initiatives
Dedicated attention for milestone and fundraising projects
Additional capacity during especially busy seasons
Less disruption to ongoing marketing operations
A creative partner already familiar with the organization, rather than starting from zero with every new project
Sometimes the most valuable outside support isn't another strategy deck. It's having a partner who already understands the assignment and can take important work off your plate.
-
Strong internal teams still need room to breathe.
Hiring outside marketing support doesn't always mean an organization lacks expertise. Sometimes it means the people inside the organization are already doing important work and they need to stay focused on just that.
For The Key School, SUNSEV Creative provided trusted creative capacity during a milestone year, taking ownership of substantial projects while allowing the internal team to stay focused on the everyday communications that keep the organization moving.
That's the value of the right outside partner: not creating more work to manage, but helping good teams accomplish more of the work that matters.
More bandwidth. Same brand.
One less thing on your team's plate.
